SH-60B and MH-60S Aero Techinical Engineering Change Request (TECR)
Aerohead Designs was contracted to correct two complicated rotory wing phenomina issues having to do with torque transients
in a vertical climb and in left and right high speed turns.

EFV Training System
- Managed the Marine’s EFV Training Systems program, which is a suite of training devices, including a
Driver and Turret Simulator, Personnel and C4I Navigation/Communication Part Task Trainers (PTT) and
a Hull and Weapon Station Maintenance PTT as a sub-contractor to General Dynamics Amphibious Systems (GDAMS).
- Supported GDAMS during the proposal phase generating the Statement of Work (SOW) and Training System Requirements
Document (TSRD) that were the two prime contractual documents between the Marines’ Direct Reporting Program Manager
(DRPM) office and GDAMS. Proposal activities included hardware down select competition valued at ~$5 million and
generating a 5-volume Proposal for software development.
- Developed and maintained Project Program Plans that define the development tasks, status, risks and major interfaces.
- Responsible for Schedule/Earned Value Management developing the Master Schedules and Earned Value spreadsheets
supporting schedule and cost status.
- Developed the Risk Databases defining risk definitions and mitigations plans.
- Responsible for Task Assignment/Progress Management that include assigning tasks to the engineering team and
monitored and reported progress to GDAMS.
- Performed the Requirements Analysis that included development of the detailed specifications defining the
requirements for the projects. The requirements are imported into requirements management database (e.g., Rational ReqPro)
for tracing to sub-requirements, responsible parties and test procedures.

|
B-52 WST Rehost
Aerohead Designs rehosted the Fortran simulation software on a Perkin Elmer mainframe with a Concurrent mainframe. In additon, the
Air Refueling Upgrade was implemented allowing refueling training for the first time.

|
CH-53E Opertational Flight Trainer (OFT) Blade Element Modem (BEM)
Aerohead Designs replaced the CH-53E Mass Momentum model with a Blade Element Model replacing Fortran with Ada.
|
|
T-37 / T-38 Undergraduate Pilot Training Instrument Flight Trainer (UPTIFS)
Aerohead Designs converted the T-37 and T-38 fixed wing aerodynamics modeling from assembly to Ada. The software was run on one
of the first Harris Nighthawks microprocessors.
|
|
SH-2F Low Cost Weapon System Trainer (LCWST)
Aerohead Designs composed the SH-2F rotary wing aerodynamics modeling using mass momentum theory to design the software.
The software was written in Fortran and was run on a Harris main frame.
